Damaged by the Northridge Earthquake of 1994, Providence St. Joseph Medical Center (PSJMC) retained The JCM Group to provide advice and counsel regarding FEMA procedures and to verify the budget for their Master Facilities Plan. JCM determined that project cost would far exceed the available budget. Working with PSJMC leadership and the project architects, JCM developed a new facility strategy that includes both new and re-developed facilities.

JCM is now managing the implementation of a multi-phased project plan that will create a new 200,000 SF - 150 bed inpatient tower and support environment; new kitchen and cafeteria; and two built-out nursing units. JCM is also managing the renovation of the existing emergency department, conference center, and inpatient core for conversion to outpatient services.
